OIG Compliance System
OIG Compliance System is designed to provide a practice with policies that meet requirements from the Office of the Inspector General (OIG) Guidance from October 5, 2000. The policies are provided in a printed formats with a modifiable copy in Microsoft Word on CD so they can be customized to fit the needs of the practice.
The manual includes policies and procedures for internal audits, employee education and training, investigations, employee hotline for reporting problems and violations, responding to problems and violations, confidentiality, disciplinary actions, updates and reviews, documentation, forms, and more.
Because the OIG Guidance is a voluntary program, no updates are necessary at this time. Updates will be available, on an individual fee basis, when the OIG moves to change its Guidance and make it a mandatory program.
